Someone is bound to ask, “Didn’t you post the same BÖC album a couple of weeks ago?”
Yes AND no.
That was a different edition [1999 Reissue in digipack], this Remaster was released a few years later, features 4 bonus tracks and is part of 3-CD box set including their self-titled debút and “Secret treaties”.
For €9,49, that was the price of the 3-pack, I didn’t mind getting another copy of “Agents of fortune”…
I figured it would have cost more to acquire the other two individually, so why not buy the set?
Great *value for money*, don’t you think?
To be frank, I was more concerned about the artistic value of the album which I find to be -how shall I put it elegantly?- uneven, that’s the most fitting word.
I mean the hype behind it has been, and still is, immense – undeservedly if you ask me.
Overall, “Secret treaties” is better and I just won’t compare it with the post-“Fire of unknown origin” era which happens to be my favourite.
Assuming I was to make a *best of BÖC* compilation, I’d only include 3 tracks:
“This ain’t the summer of love”, “Sinful love” and… you won’t have to be an expert to guess the last one 😉

Thanks for this!
You’ve got a good looking and well-organized site here. Good work.
Unfortunately, I don’t really have the same taste in music.
I downloaded your link through PasteBin and faced a dilemma when it asked for the password. Thankfully, you included all of that information in the comment section of the archive and I was able to track you down through your old blog.
I wish more would take advantage of that feature. Everyone’s links get ripped off, and that’s a good way for the original poster to assert their ownership and drive traffic to the site that would have been missed otherwise.
Trying to grab the other BÖC now, “Fire of unknown origin”.
Two of the mirrors are unavailable, and FileFactory is a son-of-a-bitch when it comes to available download slots for free users.
Not your fault and I’m glad to see that you’re working with other hosts now. Good ones too.
I’m an old school rocker looking for great tunes and I’m so grateful of people like yourself.
Thanks and keep rollin’ on my man.
Thanks for the great tunes my man, keep rollin’ on.
