Tesla, a fitting name for a genuine band overflowing with talent yet somehow underrated…
Their greatest asset is the charismatic voice of Jeff Keith for whom I have the highest esteem. Following closely comes Frank Hannon & Tommy Skeoch, a formidable guitar duo of undeniable skill.
There are lead guitar parts throughout the songs blending in perfectly with Keith’s vocals leading to climaxes.
To put it simply, this is Hard Rock in its purest form free of anything unnecessary which, let’s face it, was typical of the genre during that period.

Overall, one of the late 80s classics I never get tired of listening that deserves to be reissued, preferably accompanied with some extra material.
Oh yes, I’d snap that up in a second! Not only my copy is (more than) 15 years old, I got it from a second-hand store too.
I may be very careful when handling CDs but apparently the previous owner wasn’t – hence the marks on the booklet and a few (light) scuffs on the disc.
Don’t worry, playback is unaffected and the Audio Extraction Log came out clean 😉

Personal Rating: the title of track #8 says it all, Makin’ magic.

Yes, as a matter of fact I have some.
But before we go there, you should tell me which one of the six links you picked.

I chose the FLAC rar hosted on Megaupload.

    bal2an :

    @-21grams
I chose the FLAC rar hosted on Megaupload.

Thanks for pointing that out, I tested it myself and the archive is indeed corrupt.
I’m about to remove it from the server, then re-upload it but in the meantime you can try one of these:
    a. Fix the archive by using WinRAR’s repair tool (Alt+R)
[the repair process only takes a few seconds and the result is guaranteed]
    or
    b. Download the FLAC again, this time selecting one of the other mirrors

    It’s up to you…

Dear anonymous moron from São Sebastião, Sao Paulo [whose IP is 187.74.144.216]:
I’m sorry you’re such a FUCKING RETARD that you can’t process simple information.
Life must be really hard for you.
    My recommendation? KILL YOURSELF!
Although something tells me you’ll somehow manage to FAIL in that too.
Oh well, one can at least hope…

This is some really great share, which is especially cool since without it I would have never listened to Tesla and what a shame that would have been.
It’s not really Metal, but in my opinion there’s the Blues missing for Rock… It’s just great, that it is.

Wanted to thank so much for sharing w/all of us. I really appreciate all your effort.

I went to H.S. w/Frank and Brian. My adult league softball team kicked the shit out of the local radio station/Tesla team.
The ‘Love song’ music video was filmed at Cal Expo and they played that song like 5 times, I am in the video but it’s so fast it was never a big deal to me, but the gals? Haha. Haven’t mentioned that in years.
Frank Hannon solo lives shows were really good, most of his set would be Led Zeppelin tunes. Finally to note, Jeff Keith and I were neighbors for many years, my mother had owned her house and Jeff bought the corner lot around this time ‘Great radio album’ Granite Bay California.
