Great schedule ! Love the DLR Van Halen saga, and the aftermath with Vai at the guitars is also superb. Hagar does it very well with Eddie too.
Kansas has been a great companion in many times of my life. I’d borrowed “Two for the show” from a dearest friend from my childhood, named “El Picho” (I’m from Argentina, way south from where you’re probably are).
Love the blog, been following for a couple of months now, sorry I didn’t thank before, it’s wonderful! Keep it up.
Zebra‘s self-titled album could really use some love these days. Very underrated, and somewhat unknown to a lot folks that should know about said awesomeness.
Cheers!

Hi, thanks for this, the tribute to KISS seems interesting 🙂
Great stuff, would love to see the “Spin the bottle: An all-star tribute to KISS”
Love the blog, a masterpiece in the web.
Yeah, we’d love some Mötley Crüe and Danger Danger 😀
Jekyll & Hyde please.
Judging by the previous comments everybody wants them all, so all I’ll say is do what you can and you’ll continue to keep us happy.
Keep up the great work and thanks for your efforts.
Zebra would be an awesome post for those who are not aware of them.
R.I.P. Ronnie Montrose!
We lost another great one.
Ronnie Montrose, who reigned as one of the Bay Area’s great guitar Gods for decades, died on Saturday after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer.
The Millbrae resident -perhaps best known for leading Montrose, the band that introduced Sammy Hagar to Rock fans in the early ’70s- was 64.
Thanks so much to the chief blogger here. Your site is fantastic.
I’ve been visiting on and off for a while and haven’t been good about leaving comments up ’til now. So Thanks and thanks again!
All of your ‘considering’ list is good, but Zebra is the gem… I agree, they need more love than they get in recent years.
I listened to them quite a bit back in the early eighties when they were active, and actually saw them in a Rock club in Troy NY at the time.
They were a great live act, no question. I wish they had a longer recording history.
While the first is definitely the best, “No tellin’ lies” and “3.V” are both very good too. I even like their comeback, “Zebra IV”.
Cheers everyone!
That’s a great schedule. Would you happen to have “Anubis Gate – Purification”?
Would love to have a FLAC rip of that.
Hey man, just wanted to say THANKS for all the cool music you’ve put up, and continue to do so, on this blog.
Especially THANKS for current crop of Van Halen/David Lee Roth albums.
Considering the “maybe” list, I am also in favour of Zebra.
Cheers!
I can’t find “A different kind of truth” anywhere but noticed you checked it off.
Am I losin’ it?
Haha, no, not at all.
I tick (✔) each album on the list just before ripping the respective CD.
In this case though, you’ll have to wait a bit longer cause there’s a DVD involved too 😉
@-21grams
Thanks -21grams 🙂 Excited that Chickenfoot is up next!
On the additional considerations, I’d like to vote for Ratt, Crüe and that KISS tribute.
Mötley Crüe and KISS will be touring together soon, how awesome is that?!!!
