Thunder’s music, and “Behind closed doors” in particular (happens to be their BEST album, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise), has been known to cause the following effects:
● Inarticulate cries in conjunction with utter disregard of the surrounding situation.
● Involuntary muscle contractions.
● Sudden impulse to hit things.
● Complete loss of inhibitions – if you had any in the first place 😉
Typical symptoms when experiencing serious, ass-kicking Rock ‘n’ Roll!
It only proves you’re human – Enjoy irresponsibly.
Ratings:
“Fly on the wall” & “River of pain” are straight 10s, “Too scared to live” is a 9er, the rest 7s and 8s.
Overall: ★8½
I grabbed the 2010 Remaster even though I still have the original 1995 CD edition, that should tell you something.
Fans don’t buy the same album twice unless it’s really, really AWESOME.
[Obviously, the bonus disc played a role on my decision too, I won’t deny it]

BUT: “Castles in the sand” is one of the greatest Rock songs ever (IMO) and “Preaching from the chair” should be sung to Axl Rose! Great stuff.
