Dreamtide’s second endeavour is -in my humble opinion- their best.
Helge Engelke sure knows how to write catchy tunes and “Dreams for the daring” is no exception.
Take “Dream real” for instance: What a way to open the album! It only takes half a minute before you find yourself completely and utterly hooked.
If that song fails to thrill you, better skip the rest and save yourselves the trouble.
In that case you have my deepest condolences, you have no music taste at all 😛
[yes I know everything is in the eye of the beholder, but I couldn’t help it]
As for the rest, along with the other two Dreamtide CDs, you need to check Fair Warning and Zeno discography.
These 3 bands -common members aside- are on the same level and more or less same genre.
Just for the record, if I had to choose only one, that would be Zeno – damn those Japanese pressings of theirs cost a mint!
