After a couple of listens, the rating I’m giving ADToE overall is 7½★ out of 10.
[The exact same material released by another band/under a different name would get 1 or 2 more points more, but again we're talking about THE Dream Theater here]
What everyone seems to agree on, is which track can be nominated as the new “Learning to live”:
Without a doubt, “Breaking all illusions”; gave me goosebumps right from the start.
2nd best for me right now is “Lost not forgotten” but as with every Dream Theater album, listeners need to take their time digesting the music…

I agree with you, after listening a few times, I came to the conclusion that “Breaking all illusions” is the best track, followed by “Lost not forgotten” and “Outcry”.
Dream Theater aways demanded some time of the listeners to understand their work.
The rating I’m giving ADToE is 8★ out of 10, because the album is very progressive and captivating.
In the track “On the backs of angels” at 3:26 (Labrie sings “…the new American dream…”), has a *beep* that bothers me since the song was released on YouTube.
Or am I going crazy?
