A triumphant return indeed!
HEAVY METAL in its purest form, highly praised by critics (“Album of the month” in several magazines/sites etc as the sticker on the cover implies) and fans alike.
Despite the general notion that there is no (real) Accept without Udo’s distinctive growling vocals, Mark Tornillo wins even the most narrow-minded/stuck in the 80s followers – like myself 😛 – with his performance.
A worthy replacement to say the least, and let’s not forget this guy came out of nowhere…

The Japanese version actually contains one more bonus track, called “Land of the Free” (not Gamma Ray cover). Have you heard that, -21grams?
I have now, thanks for bringing it up.
It’s a real shame it was left out, I like it better than “Time machine” (which is the EU/US edition bonus track) for instance…
Anyhow, we all know how much these Japanese issues cost (this one comes in Super High Material CD too), so I’ll suffice to my €9,99 copy thank you very much 😛
