Unfortunately, I need a premium account to download from Filecloud.io, so I can’t download the videos
But Gamefront.com is super fast!

As far as I know (and at least until recently), in order to download from Filecloud.io you only need to be a registered user.
And by that I mean to create a Free account, NOT pay for Premium.

I must admit I initially thought this was going to be a false alarm, but the screenshot you posted doesn’t leave much room for debate…
Haven’t had any other reports about this issue, but then again not everyone’s keen on leaving feedback so I can’t tell with certainty if there are others as well.

What I’m certain of, is that I’ve never encountered the problem you’re experiencing.
btw, I assume you’ve tried more than once, right?
You might have caught them in the *rush hour*, an interval during which (some) Cyberlockers are known to limit bandwidth to free users in favour of premium members. It’s not uncommon, quite the opposite actually.

In order to rule out some of the possible causes, I decided to try the link in question myself.
Moreover, I wanted to emulate the conditions a *new* user would meet.
So I rebooted the modem to get a fresh IP and used a different web browser to ensure there was nothing connecting me with the hoster [username/password, *cookies* etc]
 

I followed every step a new user would take, and it WORKED albeit slow [make that inexplicably slow, DL speed was the lowest I’ve seen].

The only possible explanation I can give, is that Filecloud applies (more) restrictions to specific Country IPs – in your case Hong Kong [or China altogether].
There is a way to determine if my assumption is true or not.
You can either use a Proxy [as a person living in a country whose government *intervenes* blocking its citizens from accessing specific sites, you should already be familiar with the process ;)], or contact a friend of yours abroad and ask them to try exactly the same time as you do.
Alternatively, you can contact Filecloud directly and raise the question.

By now you must be thinking, “Wouldn’t it be easier -for everyone- to merely upload the video to another file-hosting service and get it over with? It wouldn’t take much time”
In short, yes. There are other aspects as well though.
For one, Filecloud.io is currently my primary host. And the main reason is there’s NO expiry policy.
Unlike ALL other services (or at least the ones I’m aware of) files hosted on Filecloud do NOT get deleted due to *inactivity*.

Sure, Zippyshare is fast, Gamefront too.
But unless someone downloads the files you have there at least once a month, they’re automatically removed to save space.
I’ve already lost some mp3 rips on Zippyshare that turned out to be not-so-popular…
Accompanying videos (as well as bonus DVDs and *extras* in general) fall precisely into that category, most visitors ignore them.
At some point they’ll get deleted, a while later some random guy or gal will stumble on the blog, will notice the links are dead and I’ll get yet another re-upload request.
You cannot possible imagine how many of those I’ve had the 6 years I’m running the blog.
That is why I my answer is no.
On the off chance Gamefront (which you seem to prefer) changes its file expiry policy, however, I’ll switch in a heartbeat.
