First of all, the only *extra* in this particular edition is an additional booklet; I’m only mentioning it because the Japanese pressing features the bonus track “Annica” (which I have yet to listen – if you happen to own that issue drop me a line)
Secondly, Craig Goldy‘s return created high expectations which weren’t exactly fulfilled.
“Magica” may start off where “Dream evil” stopped, but as far as song-writing is concerned it leaves a lot to be desired.
The impression I got when I first listened the album was that the band was *playing it safe* – I still haven’t changed my mind…
IMHO, a *golden mediocrity*
