Dear Santa Claus,
As much as I appreciate the TSO project, I believe it’s gone too far.
I miss Savatage terribly, it's been years since their last album.
That's why I'm asking you to persuade Jon Oliva, Paul O'Neill and the rest of the guys (the more the merrier) to put their orchestral endeavours aside and focus on writing some HEAVY METAL.
It doesn't necessarily have to be old-school material like “Sirens” or “The dungeons are calling”; I don't expect a “Hall of the Mountain King” Vol. 2 nor a “Gutter ballet” return.
Tell them to start where “Dead winter dead” left off [“Poets and madmen” didn't live up to my expectations] and I'm sure they'll do fine 🙂
Have a very merry Christmas!

Quite possibly the best Christmas-themed Rock album ever!
Not even TSO have topped it…
Merry FLACing Christmas!
Seconded!
But probability of another Sava CD: 0.00000000001% 🙁
No doubt about it, definitely THE best Christmas~themed album ever.
And not just in the Rock genre…
I buy almost every Christmas album released, so I know what I am talking about.
Very touching with excellent melodies and lyrics through a heavenly atmosphere.
Personally speaking, I belong to those who regard TSO not only superior to Savatage (although no one could ever dismiss their masterpieces) but one of the best bands in general.
It doesn't have to be Christmas to enjoy their music.
Thanks.
Thanks.
