Sleazy: the way it should be.
Mark my words:
“Hot wire” makes ANY Britny Fox or Cinderella album to seem small in comparison.
The first two songs are on the same level with AC/DC’s “Back in black” and if you ask me, they could have easily been part of it.
Trust me, you’re in for a real treat – After a few spins you too will be whistling “Girl money”. Even in your sleep!
But in order to fully enjoy Steve Whiteman & the gang you’ve got to follow a few simple rules:
Rule #1:
Play it LOUD!
Rule #2:
LOUDER!
Rule #3:
I DON’T HEAR THE WALLS SHAKING!
For your information, it ain’t loud enough until the neighbours either call the cops or knock on your door to join the party 😉
What will it be then?
To sum it up,
Pros:
Highly addictive sleazy Hard Rock, Steve Whiteman’s vocals, every single riff/solo/harmonica part/cowbell [Don’t you EVER forget: “We could all use a little bit more more cowbell!”]
Cons:
Side B -ehhmm… I used to have this on cassette and just recently bought the CD- is not as good as Side A.

Thanks 😀
Do you have anymore Kix to share?
Kix are magnificent, although I’ll have to disagree with your view on Cinderella.
I think you went too far there – quite expected to those who know my personal preferences 😛
I can certainly see the characteristics in Kix’s music making you feel the way you do. The mood is electrifying throughout the album and I get those special vibes only authentic Rock ‘n’ Roll can offer.
Makes me wonder why I haven’t given them a chance all these years…
Lo maximo gracias espero esa balada amigo
Gracias.
