    Perfectly balanced.
That’s the most fitting description I can give to both Kiko Loureiro as a guitarist/composer and his first solo effort “No gravity”.
The latter has EVERYTHING I could possibly wish from a guitar-oriented record (and not only).
    Passionate playing
Unforgettable songs and melodies you’ll remember for the rest of your life
    Unique tone/recognisable sound
Virtuosity/flawless technique/unparalleled skill/unrivalled dexterity: Check, check, check and check!

“No gravity” is what “Not of this earth”/“Surfing with the alien”/“Flying in a blue dream” were for the 80s:
    Milestones!
There I’ve said it, and I mean EVERY word.
It almost made me forget the first two fabulous Angra albums I so much adore…

For reasons unknown to me this CD has been issued by 4 different record labels within the same year 😯
The copy I own was released by Icarus Music [Argentina].
I’m only mentioning this because there must have been a mix-up while printing the booklet, or so I think.
I noticed that every other edition has a different front cover, mine looks as if it’s inside-out…

Don’t forget to check Kiko Loureiro’s upcoming album, due on March 25th.
I haven’t heard a single note yet, but judging from the sophomore album Universo inverso in which Jazz & Latin elements were more dominant than ever, I wouldn’t expect something similar to “No gravity”.
That was entirely different and although I do enjoy changes/enriching music/progressing etc I was somehow disappointed when it came out…

    Excellent album!
Most of the tracks remind me of Joe Satriani, with the exception of the self-titled song which sounds more like Vinnie Moore.
Highly recommended for all guitar fans.

I think all the way round, all sound so power metal and neoclassic (more like Angra but without the feeling), and then you have song No gravity, which sounds like Satriani.
If you give me a few minutes I can tell you which Satriani songs exactly.

All FLAC Links are dead but I’ve kept the archive I downloaded in 2016.
